THE APR camp is in  a relieved mood after knowing that head coach Erik Paske will be in charge of Thursday’s mustwin league game against Electrogaz at Ferwafa.

The Dutch coach missed Saturday’s MTN Peace Cup semi-final first leg against Mukura which ended in a 2-2 draw.
With goalkeeping coach Claude Ishimwe in charge, APR seemed short of ideas and confidence.

Sources close to the club told Times Sport that Paske had flown back to his native Holland to settle some family issues.

Paske, who replaced Rene Feller early this year, returned on Monday and is already down to business.

"I’m back and we have to try and win our remaining fixtures starting with Thursday’s league game against Electrogaz,” he said.

The nine-time league champions are expected to be without their influential midfielder Jean Mugiraneza ‘Migi’.

The Amavubi player suffered a knock in his right knee on Saturday and could even be a doubt for Sunday’s crucial MTN Peace Cup return league against Mukura.

Electrogaz on the other hand know that a fourth spot finish is within reach if they can dig out good results from their remaining league fixtures. Electrogaz are currently on 24 points, just one short of Mukura.

On the other hand, APR with 45 points, are two adrift of reigning champions and table leaders Atraco and know that anything short of a win on Thursday will all but crash their hopes of regaining the title.

Elsewhere, Atraco clash with Mukura while 2004 champions Rayon Sport host Kibuye at Nyamirambo stadium.

SC Kiyovu hosts AS Kigali at Mumena stadium, Police plays away to Amagaju in Nyamagabe while relegated La Jeunesse take on Marines at Kicukiro.
