Rwanda amputee football captain Fidele Gatete netted his maiden goal for Malatya Buyuksehir Spor Kulubu on Tuesday, December 24, as they beat Olimpik Yetenekler SK 4-1 in the Turkish Amputee Football Lig 1.

Gatete who extended his contract with Malatya by one more year earlier this month scored his side's fourth goal in the 33rd minute after Tabar Firouzjah, Metin Yildirim and Huseyin Bozkus had given them a 3-1 lead.

He and international team mate Jean Paul Ntambara have been at Malatya since 2022 when they moved from Pendik FC.
