A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...

Marketing & Sales Director

Leo Hao is the Marketing and Sales Director of Star Africa Media. He therefore has the responsibility to monitor the sales and marketing department of the company and reach out to the clients as well. Below, he shares with you his typical working day:

I wake-up at 6a.m and do some physical exercise for about half an hour. I take a shower and have breakfast.
It takes me 10 to 20 minutes to get to work from home in Nyarutarama to reach Kimihurura opposite the Ministry of Justice.

At 8a.m, I conduct a meeting with the sales and marketing team to check on what was not accomplished the previous day and thereafter set the days programme.

I check in the business hall and go out to visit different companies depending on the programme set.

I normally have lunch between 12 and 1p.m. I complete by checking on the other company branches then back to the main office.

I leave office at 6p.m. On arriving home, I make sure I get some time to read about marketing skills. I have supper at 8p.m but go to bed at 11p.m
