Mbungo wins third trophy in South Sudan

Rwanda tactician Andre Casa Mbungo won his third trophy in the space of four months since joining South Sudanese side Jamus FC Juba as head coach in August.

The Rwandan coach again helped the club lift the Juba South Super Cup after beating Malakia FC 5-4 on penalties over the weekend.

The pair had played a 2-2 draw in the regulation time before Jamus went on to win the tie on penalty shootouts.

The club will now shift focus on the South Sudan Cup which will be contested by 10 teams starting January 2025.

Mbungo has previously coached a host of teams including Bandari FC in Kenya as well as AS Kigali and Rayon Sports among others Rwanda.
