MUSANZE coach Rafiki Nshiyimana could go down in the club’s history books as the first coach to guide the club to the first division.

After helping the club finish top of Group B in the regular season of the second division, Nshiyimana will lead his guns against Muhanga this afternoon in the first leg of the playoffs at Ubworoherane stadium.

The Northern-Province based side has never been in the top flight and knows that it is two games away from realizing its dream.

The fact that the team has never broken into the top flight should be enough to inspire Nshiyimana and his team.

"Every body involved in the club knows that this is the best chance we have got to break the jinx,” he said.

"That is one thing I will tell my players as they walk on the field tomorrow (today),” Nshiyimana added.
Etincelles will play Military in the other playoff match today.
