Basketball: Antino Jackson joins APR camp ahead of new season

APR Basketball Club new signing Antino Jackson has joined the rest of the team roster in the camp preparing for the new season of Rwanda Basketball League which tips off on January 24, 2025.

The American-Rwandan point guard, who arrived in the country on Sunday, had his first training session with his new teammates on Monday, December 16, at Lycee de Kigali gymnasium where the team, coached by American tactician James Maye Jr, holds daily training session.

APR won their 15th championship after a thrilling 4-2 finals series against rivals Patriots.

Jackson, 28, moved to Rwandan league earlier in 2024 joining REG BBC, but he recently crossed over to APR at the end of the season.

The champions will represent Rwanda in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) in 2025.
