On Tuesday and by end of business yesterday the Rwanda OTC Market (ROTC) was still quiet as no transactions were recorded.

At the close of the session yesterday officials said there were no transactions made.

The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) counter had no shares on offer and no buyers. By the beginning of the week the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) KCB shares traded between Ksh 23.00 (Rwf171) and Ksh 23.25 (Rwf173) to close at Ksh 23.00 (Rwf 171), a decrease of Ksh.25 (Rwf 2) from Friday’s closing price of Ksh 23.25(Rwf 173).

However the bond market was also quiet as no transactions were recorded.

At the close of the business on Monday, Rwf 2 billion worth of government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.

There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50.
