Ambassador James Ngango presented his letters of credence to President Nataša Pirc Musar of Slovenia, at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana, on Friday, December 13.
A statement from Rwanda’s embassy says that during the ceremony, Ambassador Ngango conveyed a special message from President Paul Kagame, reaffirming Rwanda’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Slovenia.
Prior to the ceremony, Ambassador Ngango presented copies of his credentials to Ambassador Nataša Prah, the Head of Diplomatic Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
He also held discussions with other officials of the ministry and exchanged on ways to further strengthen relations at bilateral and multilateral levels.
Rwanda and Slovenia diplomatic relations started increasing since September 2011, and expanded to parliamentary diplomacy in the past three years.
The two countries actively participate in diplomatic, trade, and business activities aimed at fostering stronger ties.
