At least 13 teams from five East African countries have confirmed their participation in the ECAHF Senior Club Championship taking place in Kigali from December 14-22.
The regional handball competition attracts the best clubs in their domestic leagues across the East African region.
Participating teams for this year's edition are from host nation Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, South Sudan and Uganda. They will compete in both men and women's categories.
All matches will be held at Petit Stade indoor gymnasium in Remera.
Handball: Petit Stade to host APR, Police clash
Eight teams will be battling for the trophy in men’s category. They include NCPB (Kenya), SOS (Burundi), Juba City (South Sudan), Cobra (South Sudan), Prisons (Uganda), APR, Police and Gicumbi handball teams (Rwanda).
The women’s tournament has five participants in Nairobi Water (Kenya), Prisons (Uganda), University of Kigali and ESC Nyamagabe (Rwanda) as well as Police (Uganda).
