SECOND division’s top clubs don’t have to wait long for the play-offs. The first leg is set for this Saturday, July 18 while the second leg is scheduled for July 25.
Group A leaders Muzanze will clash with Group B runners up Muhanga while Group B leaders Etincelles face Group A runners up Military.
Unlike Musanze, Muhanga and Etincelles who had secured their play-off slots long before, Military secured their playoff berth on the final day of the regular second division league after a vital 6-1 victory over Stella Maris.
Their rivals Nyanza crumbled at the wrong time after being held to a 2-2 draw by Union.
The winners from the two playoff ties will earn automatic slots in the 2009/2010 national soccer league.
