Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Kigali, celebrated its annual appreciation cocktail and dinner on December 6, honouring its clients and business partners for their contributions to the hotel’s success throughout the year. The event, a key highlight of the year, brought together a diverse audience, including embassy representatives, government officials, corporate clients, and key event organisers.
The gathering served not only as a gesture of gratitude but also as a showcase of Radisson Blu’s resilience and growth, even in the face of challenges such as the Marburg virus outbreak.

Rob Kucera, District Director for Radisson Hotels East Africa and Complex General Manager of Radisson Blu and Kigali Convention Centre, underscored the significance of the evening.
"Tonight, we’re hosting our annual appreciation evening to express our gratitude to all our clients and business partners who have supported us throughout the year. Whether it’s through hosting, construction, or partnerships, we couldn’t have done it without them,” he said.
"We say thank you this year, but we also need your continued support in the coming year. We want to make it even bigger, better, and stronger. As I conclude, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Thank you for being here and for your ongoing support,” he added.

Nice Uwase, the Commercial Director at Radisson Blu Kigali, emphasised the privilege of working with remarkable individuals and organisations, highlighting that 2024 is a year marked with growth and innovation with Kigali gaining recognition on various platforms.
"We are fortunate to collaborate with incredible partners who are here tonight. Your trust, integrity, and contribution to the centre have been pivotal in our success this year. Thanks to your support, we’ve successfully represented Rwanda and hosted a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large conferences, putting Rwanda in the second rank in Africa,” she said.
Uwase acknowledged the invaluable role of the hotel’s partners in being part of their journey and for their contributions to their growth.
"I personally want to thank each one of you for your feedback. It has helped us improve in many areas, and we’ve made strides because of it. Let us raise our glasses to 2024 and a bright future ahead as we continue this journey with all of you,” she added.

One of Radisson Blu’s clients, Tino Mutloung, Manager of Product and Ancillary Development at RwandAir, noted that this year has been fantastic, with both companies benefiting from aligned values and seamless collaboration regarding their shared clients.
Mutloung also added that their partnership, built on strong collaboration, has provided excellent service and created a foundation for further growth and engagement in 2025.
"This year has been a great partnership with Radisson. We share the same clients, and we share similar values, so it’s been a seamless relationship, and the collaboration between the airline and the hotel is a key factor in enhancing the overall perception of Rwanda as a destination,” she said.
