Miss National University of Rwanda (NUR), Sandra Uwimbabazi is reportedly participating in a series of social and cultural activities in the southern province.

Uwimbabazi has visited different hospitals, like CHUB hospital, and orphanages, including "Let Little Children Come To Me”, in Huye district, southern province.

The 22-year-old Miss was appointed Ambassador in the event to mark the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial.

The event was organized by Rwanda Village Concept Project, and recognized under this year’s theme: "Together We Are The Solution”.

In her remarks during the event, Uwimbabazi sensitized girls and women to say "NO” to unsafe sex.

The second year Law student was early last year crowned Miss UNR, beating eight other contestants vying to win the University’s most high-profile beauty competition.
