APR Kenyan midfielder Moses Odhiambo has joined Tanzania’s mainland Vodacom Premier League champions, Young Africans.
The player is on the list of the seven players Yanga have submitted to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF).
The move is a sign of relief for the Kenyan international, who has side-stepped an indefinite suspension from APR on grounds of indiscipline.
Odhiambo rose to the lime light in 2005 with another Tanzanian side Moro United. He joined Simba SC the following year on a two-year contract before switching to APR last year in May.
According to APR Secretary General Adolf Kalisa, both Odhiambo and Mwemere Girinshuti were given indefinite suspensions for what he described as "their intolerable discipline”.
"We have parted company with the pair and they are free to join any club of their choice,” Kalisa said.
Nelson Kimathi, Temeke Combine and Bakari Mohamed Mbegu are some of the other new players signed to beef up Yanga who will be gunning for a third straight league title when the season kicks off on August 23.
