GONE MISSING: Joseph Kabagambe

KHARTOUM, SUDAN – JOSEPH Kabagambe is testing Atraco’s wrath after his latest escapade. The controversial winger has vanished from camp leaving the team in disarray.

"He picked all his property from the hotel but surprising left without his passport,” Atraco’s vice president Issa Ngezi revealed.

The bitter club official continued, "Kabagambe has showed high levels of indiscipline and must be dealt with.”

It is reported that the Ugandan international disappeared after Al-Neer officials requested him to refund the $10,000 (Rwf5.7 million) he pocketed as sign-on fee after forging a release letter from Atraco approving a $5,000 (Rwf2.8 million) six-month loan move to the Sudanese side.

Sources close to Kabagambe have revealed that the midfielder ran off because he had already spent $3,000 (Rwf1.7 millions) of the $10,000 sign-on fee.

Al-Neer’s decision to ask for a refund could be living proof that the club has failed to reach an agreement with Atraco who reportedly wanted $20,000 (Rwf11.4 million) for the player’s signature.

"We have asked for $20,000 but these people want to pay very little money,” said Ngenzi.
