Three years without major silverware in the cabinet, Rayon Sports are keen to end the jinx by winning the Rwanda Premier League.
For Rayon Sports striker, the team is fully determined to turn a new chapter and defy the odds to progress to the final. He is the top scorer on the team after scoring three goals in three games.
"There’s nothing we want more than the title right now. We are doing well from the start of the season and it gives us the confidence to do better in the next matches. It is still early to comment on the title but our target this year is to win some silverware,” Onana said.
Rayon Sports will play against Sunrise on Friday, November 4, at Kigali Stadium, with kick-off at 18:00. The last time Rayon Sports won the league was in the 2018–2019 season.

"My target is to keep on helping my team to score goals, which would boost our chances of winning many matches ahead of us. We need to continue our winning ways in the league. I am looking forward to keeping that run going. Our objective is to make sure we win the league.”
After tasting relative success in the Caf Confederation Cup, in 2018, when they reached the quarterfinal – the first time for any Rwandan club – Rayon Sports is determined to make a return but this time in CAF Champions League.
Talking about returning to continental competitions, Onana said: "We have a good run in the league so far and with the experience we gained, I believe we can do better in our next matches.”
