It was a fair weekend for Rwandan players abroad with Samuel Gueulette and Yves Mugunga being put their name on the scoreboard for Raal La Louviere and Al Selmiyah respectively while goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera was at the top of his form between the posts as Al Kawkab continue their quest for top tier promotion.

Jojea Kwizera had a weekend to forget as his Rhode Island FC lost the playoff final while Bonheur Mugisha excelled for Stade Tunisien in their 1-0 win over Gafsa.

Gueulette played 79 minute before making way for Thierno Diallo.

In the 1ste Nationale League, 19-year-old centre back Jeremie Mugabo played 90 minutes for Union Namur who lost 2-0 to Rochefort.
