Tanzanian giants Simba SC have parted ways with Rwandan football administrator Francois Regis Uwayezu just three months after appointing him as their Chief Executive Officer.
The former APR vice chairman was named as club CEO on August 1 replacing Imani Kajula to the top position but he has now been relieved of duties through mutual consent due to reasons that the club described as ‘beyond our control.”
"We would like to inform the public that, Simba SC and Francois Regis, our Chief Executive Officer have reached an agreement to terminate our contract due to reasons beyond our control. We thank Mr. Regis for his services," the club said in a statement released on Saturday, November 23.
