Keeping the environment clean and green is everyone’s responsibility, but for some of the residents of Kigali, it is far from reality because they do not know the importance of keeping the city green.

Just recently, a man was caught trespassing in Remera and he was not even aware that what he did was actually illegal.

His justifications were all in vain because ignorance is no defence. He was arrested.

The responsible authorities should not take anything for granted but should instead teach the citizens why and how the city should be kept green.
