Rwanda Premier League: Etincelles aims to deepen Kiyovu’s woes

Etincelles are determined to add misery to Kiyovu Sports’ season so far when the two teams meet at Kigali Pele Stadium on Friday, November 22 in a Rwanda Premier League week 10 encounter.

The Green Baggies are at the bottom of the league table after winning just one game and losing 8 out of the nine games they have played. On the other hand, Etincelles is having a season of mixed results as they currently sit in the 13th position with 8 points.

Speaking to Times Sport, Etincelles’ star striker Moro Sumaila said they are going for a win, as he referred to the game as a normal one.

"For us, playing against Kiyovu is a normal game and we are going to win," he noted.

In other games, Bugesera FC will welcome Vision FC at the Bugesera Stadium in Nyamata on Saturday. The two teams met in preseason at the same venue in a game that ended 1-0 in Vision’s favour.

On the same day, Gasogi United will play against Musanze FC at Kigali Pele Stadium, while APR FC will entertain Muhazi United at the same venue in the evening.

At Huye Stadium, AS Kigali will be up against Amagaju on Sunday, while Mukura Victory Sports led by RPL top scorer Boateng Mensah will visit newly promoted side Rutsiro FC.

At Kigali Pele Stadium, on Sunday as well, Rayon Sports will play against Gorilla FC, a team that is welcoming back their skipper Victor Murdah who missed their recent game with Bugesera through suspension due to accumulated yellow cards.
