I read with keen interest your article entitled: "RDB to introduce online business registration " in today’s edition of your paper.

This is great news and a smart move in the right direction.

This will facilitate the registration process, particularly for foreign investors, immensely.

An online facility for business registration will thus ensure that there is no delay and will therefore not necessitate the investor having to travel all the way to Rwanda to initiate the registration process.

If the online business registration can be put into place before the forthcoming 2nd East African Investment Conference scheduled to be held at Nairobi from 29 to 31 July, 2009, it would serve as an incentive to potential investors attending the Conference to seriously consider Rwanda as the preferred investment destination .

The Rwanda Development Board has always been extremely efficient and pro-active and I am sure it will not be long before this online business registration facility will be implemented.
