The long-waited, and first ever Jam Session concert flopped on its grand opening, July 2.

The concert at the New Cadillac VIP that received prior scores of advertisements, turned out to be a damp squib when only about 30 people turned up instead of the forecast of 3000 people.

By midnight, there were only a hand full people, and no sign of artistes as promised. While there was music blasting from the stage.

The Jam Session, a common gig in East African countries, was brought by Rwandan artiste based in Uganda VD Frank, to launch his third album, "Nicole”.

"I’m totally disappointed because I have injected in a lot of money in this project. I just need to pray hard so that it doesn’t flop at KBC, and Exotica Night Club”, VD Frank said in sad tone.

Both local and regional artistes are scheduled to perform, and these include: Urban Boyz, The Brothers, Bull Dog, King James, Storm Riders, and Ben & Liza, and Uganda’s Dream Girls, ID Twins and Abdu Mulasi.
