We don’t just pick money, we labor for it. What is this news that taxi-fares are going to be doubled!?

Already, we are paying twice as much compared to our neighboring countries.

Normally, fares are hiked when the price of fuel goes up but I’m not sure it has gone that high for ATRACO to think that the best remedy is to double the fare.

It is true that we all work to live comfortable lives but I’m afraid these taxi-drivers want to grow rich in days.

It doesn’t make much sense for one to be charged Rwf 300 from the Remera taxi-park to Kacyiru; a whole Rwf150 more than they have been paying.

I’m therefore appealing to the concerned authorities to do some thing otherwise we could have half the population in Kigali walking to their places of work.
