It’s shocking that the Auditor General’s report of the Fiscal Year 2007 reveals that 6.5 billion francs of taxpayer’s monies are unaccounted for; with 86 percent of the funds unaccounted for in the Local Government ministry.

That was scandalous!

The Auditor General, Evelyn Kamagaju, certainly did her job and I think that it is time the lawmakers did theirs.

I hoped to hear that every single lost penny was explained but I haven’t heard a single thing since the report was made.

Did the funds appear miraculously or has the Parliament taken its sweet time?
