I am very thankful for the international football stars who responded positively for the One Dollar campaign.

These stars, along with many in the general public, together have raised Rwf 145 million.

This huge amount of donations reminds those that are victims of the terror of 1994, that the world hasn’t forgotten them.

My heart warms when I think of the generosity of the football stars, who despite their globally recognized fame, they humbled themselves and came down to a small landlocked country with a scary past, and all those people gave whatever they could to this wonderful initiative.
