I am very thankful for the international football stars who responded positively for the One Dollar campaign.

Their presence graced the occasion. They reminded us that those that we lost are of vital importance to us despite their grotesque departure from this world.

My heart again passes on warm thanks to the stars that despite their globally recognized fame, they humbled themselves and came down to a small landlocked country with a scary past to put a bright smile many Rwandan faces lost their loved ones in senseless ethnic divisionism during the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.
