Reigning champions APR are hoping to regain top spot this afternoon when they travel to Gicumbi to play Inyemera.

The military side, with 25 points is currently one point adrift of league leaders AS Kigali and head coach Egidia Kayitesi reckons that they have to be very sharp against Inyemera.

"It is a very important game for us because anything short of three points will put us on the back foot. All the top four clubs-AS Kigali Aspej, Musanze and ourselves still have a genuine chance of winning the league,” Kayitesi said.

Elsewhere, Aspej will be looking to leapfrog Musanze in third place with a win over the latter. Muzanze currently enjoy a two-point lead over Aspej.
