Handball: Rwanda U20 qualify for IHF intercontinental championship

Rwanda emerged winners of the 2024 IHF Africa Trophy that concluded in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, after a convincing 34-25 win over Reunion Island in the final on Wednesday, November 6.
Francois Xavier Ngarambe’s team finished the tournament unbeaten after winning all their four games to become the champions of Africa.

With the victory, Rwanda will represent Africa in the 2025 IHF Trophy Intercontinental Phase which will be hosted in a yet to be confirmed country.
The Intercontinental Phase brings together countries that won the tournament from for their respective continents.
