Meddy confirms Canada tour in December

US-based gospel musician Medard Jobert Ngabo, popularly known as Meddy, has announced concerts in Canada’s five cities Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Edmonton in December.

The ‘Niyo Ndirimbo’ hit maker confirmed the music tour via his Instagram page, inviting his fans in Canada to the night of worship and testimonies.

"To my beautiful people in Canada, I want to take this opportunity to invite you personally to my Canada tour. The night of worship and testimonies, tell your friends and families to come and experience the presence of God. Come support the work of God and hear what God has done in my life,” Meddy said in the video post.

According to the tour schedule, the singer will perform in Montreal on December 14, Toronto the following day and Ottawa on December 22. The dates for Vancouver and Edmond are yet to be announced.

This marks Meddy’s first official music tour out of the United States since giving his career a new direction when he turned to gospel music in 2021.

Some of his gospel songs include ‘Ungirira Ubuntu', ‘Holy Spirit’, ‘Grateful’ and ‘Niyo Ndirimbo’ featuring Adrien Misigaro.

Meddy grew up in church singing in a choir at a young age. He started his career singing cover songs when he was in high school [La Colombiere School) and he ended up pursuing a secular music.

It was not until January when he returned to his gospel roots with the release of ‘Grateful.’

The father of one child is now a proud Christian who consistently spreads the gospel of God not only through music but also testimonies in church.
