Over the weekend, a lot of events happened around the country. One of them was the naming of 18 baby gorillas.

Rwanda as a country believes that it is important to protect these animals and where they stay.

Gorillas bring tourists to the country and this is important for development.

As you read, you will realise that children too are interested in protecting gorillas. This is seen in their art work and drawings.

Another event that started last week and is still going on, is the Rwanda Film Festival.

This happens every year and different films are shown to Rwandans around the country.

The Film festival is showing short films that are interesting, educative and funny like ‘Charlie Chaplain’ comedy that children like.

Children like watching films because they are entertaining. Besides this, some good films also teach lessons that are important in life.

So, as you read, find out what these lessons are.

Even if movies teach us a lot, we as children should never watch bad films.

These are not healthy and teach bad morals too. For you to enjoy a good film it should be one that is morally upright.
