AfroBasket 2025: Rwanda to face hosts Senegal in qualifiers opener

Rwanda will face hosts Senegal in the pair’s opening game in the group stages of the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers due from November 22-24 in Dakar.

The two teams are pooled in Group C alongside Cameroon and Gabon.

After the Senegal tie, Cheikh Sarr’s side will play Cameroon at the same venue on November 23 before taking on Gabon in the last match on November 24.

The national team is currently camping at Kigali Delight Hotel and is conducting daily training sessions at Petit Stade under head coach Cheikh Sarr and his assistants Yves Murenzi and Kenneth Gasana.
