KCC to give ASSETAMORWA land

Kigali City Council (KCC) is set to allocate construction land to ASSETAMORWA members. ASSETAMORWA is the motor-cycle taxi operators’ association in the country.

This was revealed by the Mayor, Dr Aisa Kirabo, while meeting ASSETAMORWA members on Thursday, at Camp Kigali. 

During the meeting, the Mayor hailed the Association for the good work of transporting residents in Kigali, while urging them to keep the city clean.

 "I am proud of you because you have done a better job but you can even do more,” she said.

The Mayor also urged the members to help each other and improve the standard of living of their respective families.

Dieudonne Nteziyaremye, the president of the association thanked KCC for helping the association improve their welfare.

He revealed that the association is currently in talks with Rwanda Development Board (RDB) to help members learn English, Swahili and customer care to make their work run smoothly.
