Navio

Ugandan born singer, Daniel Kigozi aka navio is planning to stage a concert in Rwanda as part of his East African tour.

The hip hop and rap dude said he is not certain of the dates but his management is working on a regional programme.  Navio translates into Naturally Able in Verse Initiated Opuses.

He is a former member of Klear Kut, a group whose beginnings was humble; they started performing at karaoke’s and clubs around Kampala.

The group rapidly achieved a reputation for their original performances and they started performing at even larger events.

Klear kut was a nominee for the Kora All Africa Music Awards in 2006 and awarded Best Hip-hop Group in Pearl of Africa Music Awards.

The group also performed at big concerts around the world like in South Africa at the prestigious reality TV show, Big Brother Africa.

Staring in 2007, Navio started his solo career after KlearKut as a group decided to experiment solo careers.

The tour comes after the former member of Klear Kut successfully launched his album, ‘Half the Legend’.  Navio’s album full of ‘luga flows ‘ (luganda hip hop songs) has songs like; Salooni, Bugumu, Otyo, Bad man from Kamwokya and many more.

These are done in collaborations from artistes like Juacali, Kid Fox, 2Face, Peter Miles & Menshan, Vampino aka Vampos, Tha Mith, Maurice Kirya, GNL and Bobi Wine.
