Royal Netherlands Football Federation (KNVB) instructor Robert Klein believes women football is heading in the right direction.

During the closing ceremony of the one-week coaching workshop for women held at Ferwafa recently, Klein said that the standards of women football will grow much faster after tutoring 35 women coaches from Rwanda and DR. Congo on the basics of modern football.

Among the trained 35 coaches, five will be selected to attend an advanced course in Kenya later this year before heading to Holland for another advanced course.

The one-week training course for women coaches was sponsored by Nike International, Women Win and Dutch football federation (KNVB).
