Twaje Fest

Kigali’s BK Arena will come alive with music, remembrance, and purpose this Saturday, October 26, as Twaje Fest, organized by the YB Foundation, takes center stage.

This annual event goes beyond entertainment, paying tribute to the late musician Yvan Buravan, whose life was cut short by pancreatic cancer in 2022. Twaje Fest honors Buravan’s legacy while raising awareness about cancer prevention and early detection through the YB Foundation’s "Turikumwe Campaign.”

Inspired by Buravan’s acclaimed ‘Twaje’ album, which won Best Album of the Year in 2022, the festival promises fans a journey through his greatest hits. The event will also unveil ‘Twaje Deluxe,’ a collection of previously unreleased tracks that showcase Buravan’s unrealized dreams and artistic spirit.

The star-studded lineup includes some of Rwanda’s top talents, such as Jules Sentore, Alyn Sano, Ibihame by’Imana, Ariel Wayz, and many others, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the expected 7,500 attendees.

Twaje Fest offers more than just a musical celebration; it’s a platform for health advocacy, encouraging Rwandans to stay vigilant about cancer prevention and the importance of early detection. Tickets range from Rwf 5,000 for regular admission to Rwf 35,000 for VVIP access.
