Editor, SSFR has of recent been in the news and unfortunately, not for good reasons. I am mainly concerned about an article in yesterday’s Sunday times where an NGO - Programme d’Appui aux malades du Sida et Orphelins Rejejetes ( PAMASOR), came out saying they have been falsely accused of not remitting their employees contributions by SSFR.
Editor,
SSFR has of recent been in the news and unfortunately, not for good reasons. I am mainly concerned about an article in yesterday’s Sunday times where an NGO - Programme d’Appui aux malades du Sida et Orphelins Rejejetes ( PAMASOR), came out saying they have been falsely accused of not remitting their employees contributions by SSFR.
I wonder who is telling the truth. As a contributor to SSFR, it hurts me that the organisation’s image is being tarnished in the press, yet they are entrusted with millions and millions of Rwandans savings.
SSFR should come clear on this. If there are organisations that were falsely accused, that shows there is a fault in SSFR’s system and this should be rectified. I do not want to worry about the credibility of an institution that is handling my pension.
I would like to commend organisations such as PAMASOR that have come forward, because that is the only way institutions will become more vigilant.
