Head coach François Savio Ngarambe has expressed readiness and motivation ahead of the upcoming competition. He noted that despite having a brief preparation time of just about 10 days, he believes the players are in a good shape since they have been active with their respective clubs.
"Fortunately, our players have been competing in their clubs, and we have a strong staff, including an international specialised goalkeeper coach who will greatly improve our goalkeepers' skills,” he said.
Ngarambe also talked about young talents in the squad, noting that their experience in the previous youth handball world cup makes them capable competitors.
Albato Unjima, the team’s goalkeeper coach, expressed confidence in the team’s potential. Drawing from past tournament experiences, he said that facing strong teams like Congo Brazzaville is no longer daunting for them.
