CAF/FIFA licensed Rwandan referee Munyemana Hudu is among eight center referees who will officiate at this year’s Kagame Cup Club championship set for June 30-July 12 in Khartoum, Sudan.
The seven other referees named by Cecafa Secretary General Nicholas Musonye include; Aime Ndayisenga (Burundi), Ali Farah (Djibouti), Caleb Amwayi (Kenya), Hussein El Fadil and Rassa Librato (Sudan), Charles Mbaga (Tanzania) and Mufta Ngobi (Uganda).
The Cecafa secretariat also named seven assistant referees who include; Charles Nimpagaritse (Burundi), Egueh Yacin Hassan(Djibouti),Rage Aden Marwa (Kenya),Hassan Fido(Somalia),Khalafala Abdel Aziz and Mohammed Aarif (Sudan), Samuel Kayondo (Uganda) and Ali Kombo (Zanzibar).
All referees are requested to report in Khartoum before June 28 for cooper/medical tests.
President Paul Kagame has been bankrolling the club championship since 2002.
