The Hater: I hate people who…

…think that things should always be done their way.  Some people refer to them as control freaks. I think they are simply selfish fellows whose egos deserve to be rationed. They are extremely inconsiderate of other people’s independence and have no respect for their judgement.

…think that things should always be done their way.

Some people refer to them as control freaks. I think they are simply selfish fellows whose egos deserve to be rationed. They are extremely inconsiderate of other people’s independence and have no respect for their judgement.

Parents may have a right to this bad habit but the same cannot apply to friends or even lovers. There is no point in always trying to control the pace of things. I suggest you confine your control obsession to yourself. An adult certainly knows what is right and wrong so stop trying to act boss or daddy.

…expect mercy from the rest of the world for having any form of physical impairment.

Some people with physical impairments are a bunch of nice guys but I particularly have a problem with those who expressly think that because of this misfortune, the world owes them sympathy.

It is very true indeed that disability is not inability. It is annoying to see some of these guys sticking to begging instead of trying to find work. Actually what I have discovered is that these people are not physically disabled but mentally. They are simply proud to be lame and for that they expect me to offer them my cherished coins.

…are not even disabled but trying to beg for a living.

The best name for these jokers is that of Stupid Skilled Beggars (SSB). You have certainly met them before; today you are only meeting their name! They are not disabled in anyway but simply skilled and stupid.

Yes they are stupid for they have skills that they do not want to use like their skill of acting and story telling as they try to draw sympathy. And have you not been amazed at how they can fluently ask for money in English, French, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda?

…stubbornly refuse to practice what they preach.

Without much delay I wish to point out that I am talking about the police. They want us to wear helmets whenever we are using motorcycles and seatbelts when in a car. With their tough faces I sometimes think I should be wearing a helmet all the time.

But what is annoying about these guys is the fact that they never wear helmets when riding on the bikes that do not belong to the police force. Are their police caps as hard as the helmet or are their heads hard enough to hit the tarmac and get away with it?

I recently sat next to an officer in the taxi and he simply refused to wear his seatbelt. I tried to look for his name tag but discovered that it was also missing. Maybe some of them leave home without their brains too.

…try to loudly call out their friends from a distance.

Just imagine you are walking down the street and then you suddenly hear your name screamed out for public consumption.  A fool who was lucky enough to attend school with you has just decided to get your attention by calling you as he travels by in a taxi.

Oh I hate such social misfits. I often try to ignore them and assume it is not me they are calling. However I have now decided that the next time a guy screams my name across the street, I will run towards him and slap both his ears.

I know I am the only one called The Hater so if you scream my name, you will be in big trouble. This micro hooliganism needs to be tamed immediately.
