Are the letters published in The New Times real? I replied to a letter sent by a Rwandan requesting for help to come back home from Kenya but there was no response.

This is someone who urgently needed help to come back home from Kenya to re-unite with his family. He had been a refugee in Kenya since the 1994 Genocide.

The email address given was "oscarplato2000@yahoo.com” I was touched by the letter given that I am a Kenyan living in Rwanda and wanted to know exactly how I could help but it seems the letter was either cooked up or the writer was not really in need of help.

This left me wondering what to and what not to take serious in your publication. Thank you.
