The Rwanda Premier League match between APR FC and Gasogi United which was taking place at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Saturday, has been called off after 15 minutes of action due to heavy downpour.

The match, which was initially scheduled at 7:00 pm, had been delayed for 35 minutes after it had been raining for over an hour before kickoff.

And, 15 minutes after kickoff, match officials decided to suspend the match as the pitch was so flooded that players found it too difficult to hold onto the ball.

Neither team managed to score as they returned to the dressing room tied to a goalless draw. The match will resume Sunday, October 20, same venue, same kickoff time.
