South African multi-award-winning rapper Nasty C has been confirmed as the international act for the Shine Boy Fest slated for 29 November at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village.
Rwandan musician Davis D named the concert after his nickname ’Shine Boy’ as he looks forward to celebrating his 10-year anniversary in the music industry.
Nasty C joins a hot lineup which features the likes of Platini P, Ruti Joel, Bull Dog and Nel Ngabo among other local artistes who will grace the stage during the singer’s musical celebration.
Davis D told The New Times that he picked Nasty C as the main headliner for his concert as a strategic move to cater for not only Afrobeats lovers but also the hip hop community that anticipates to attend the concert.
"Nasty C is a better pick for us because he has been performing here on top of having a big fan base in Rwanda. He will be among many other established artistes that will perform during this lifetime experience concert,” he said, adding that Shine Boy Fest is not only a celebration of his musical journey, but the growth of Rwandan music in general.
It will be Nasty C’s fourth performance in Kigali since he started making music in 2017
The concert will also feature performances by renowned DJs such as DJ Toxyyk and Marnaud among others.
