Atraco’s assistant coach Emmanuel Ruremesh is worried that fatigue may hinder his team from defending their league title. The taxi-men side holds a two point cushion over APR with 47 points but with the upcoming Cecafa Club Championship in Sudan, Ruremesh is worried the players may be to tired to hand off the nine-time record champions.

Atraco are set to represent Rwanda in the two-week regional club championship which runs from June 30-July 12.

According to the league fixtures, Atraco have a league tie on July 18 and Ruremesh fears that the players will not have enough time to recuperate.

"We have a tough away tie against Mukura six days after the championship and for me, that is not enough time for the players to recuperate,” he said.

"The next few weeks are going to be very difficult for the team. We have the Cecafa championship, the Amahoro Peace cup, the league not forgetting that some of my players will feature in the national team (Amavubi) 2010 World/Africa Nations Cup qualifiers,” the assistant coach conceded.

Atraco will jet out on June 28.
