AS Kigali have signed central midfielder Christophe Bukuru on a one-year contract.

Bukuru, 28, has been without a club since former side Mukura Victory Sports released him in January, just six months after signing him from Rutsiro FC.

He is expected to bring the needed dynamism in the midfield of the Citizens who have been in search of a natural box-to-box midfielder since the 2023/24 season.

Bukuru previously featured for APR FC, Rayon Sports and Rutsiro FC.

AS Kigali currently sit third on the Rwanda Premier League table with 10 points having won 3 matches, drawn once and lost once in five games.
