"Six individuals sustained serious injuries, while 31 others sustained minor injuries.”
All the injured were taken to Kabgayi Hospital for treatment, with 18 already discharged. The bodies of the deceased were transported to Kacyiru Hospital, Kayigi said.
"The accident was caused by speeding and a loss of control by the minibus at the rear, which rear-ended the one in front as it was descending,” he said.
He urged motorists to avoid violating traffic rules.
