Game 3: REG 82-66 APR (REG W lead the series 3-0)
American center Kristina Morgan scored a game-high 21 points to power Rwanda Energy Group (REG) women club to a convincing 82-66 Game 3 win over APR women on Wednesday night, October 9, at Petit Stade.
The 28-year-old added fifteen rebounds and three assists as REG extended their finals series lead to 3-0 and move a game away from the championship.
Julian Martinez’s charges started brightly, winning the first quarter 24-13 to open an 11-point lead, but APR bounced back to claim the second quarter 24-17 and reduced the deficit to four points.
Back in the second half, REG dominated the third quarter 19-13 and the last quarter 22-16 to claim the win that put the army side on the brink.

REG women will now be looking to life the title with a sweep should they win Game 4 when the two sides return to action at Petit Stade on Friday, October 11.
"We look forward to Game 4. I am going to give everything I’ve got,” Morgan told Times Sport after Game 3 victory.
Besides Morgan’s stellar performance, Philoxy Destiney contributed 19 points while Rosine Micomyiza added 12 points.
Meanwhile, Assouma Uwiziye led APR scorings with 13 points, followed by Diakite Kamba with 12 points.

A win on Friday will see REG be crowned champions but a similar result could bring APR back in contention.
