Rwanda’s True Promises Ministries has announced a live concert scheduled for December 1, at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village.
The ministry, one of leading gospel music groups in the country, is famous for hit songs such like ‘Mana Urera,’ ‘Umwami ni Mwiza’ and more.
The concert, dubbed ‘True Worship Live Concert,’ will provide an opportunity to connect with gospel music lovers in a spirit of praise and worship while expressing gratitude to God as the year draws to a close.
According to choir representative Mandela Ndahiriwe, the concert promises to be even better than the previous ones.
"Unlike the typical live recordings of past gospel concerts, this event will feature a mix of True Promises' popular songs alongside performances by several local guest artists. The performers will remain on stage until the concert concludes,” Ndahiriwe told The New Times.
True Promises’ most recent concert took place in November 2023, where the group recorded 11 live songs, including ‘Ndashimira Yesu,’ ‘Imana Yacu, Igicaniro,’ and ‘Ni Irihe Shyanga,’among others at Intare Arena in Gisozi.
That same year, True Promises expanded their international presence by opening their fifth branch in the United States, in addition to existing branches in Bujumbura, Nairobi, and the United Kingdom.
Formed in 2009, True Promises Ministries has released four albums so far and performed at various festivals and gospel events both in Rwanda and across the region.
The group brings together talented young worshippers from different denominations, united by their mission to spread the message of Jesus Christ through gospel music.
