Rwandan champions APR Basketball Club have added American-Rwandan point guard Antino Jackson Alvalezes to their ranks on a two-year deal, Times Sport has learnt.

Antino, 28, was one of REG's best performers during the 2024 basketball league season. He is expected to play for APR at the 2025 Basketball Africa League (BAL).

The army side has not made his move official but a reliable source from the club’s management confirmed the signing to Times Sport about on Tuesday, October 8.

It is understood that both parties have agreed personal terms and the player has already put pen to paper one a two-year contract.

"Antino is in Kigali and has signed a two-year deal,” the source revealed.

Antino is gifted with pace, flare and great shooting. He has previously plied his trade in countries like the United States and Lithuania
