This marks a slight decrease compared to the prices released on August 7. At that time, the maximum retail price for gasoline was Rwf1,629 per litre, reflecting a 55 reduction, while diesel was priced at Rwf1,652 per litre, showing a Rwf76 decrease.
According to RURA, the adjustments are primarily due to recent fluctuations in international petroleum product prices.
The next review of fuel prices is expected in December.
