It was a fair weekend for Rwandan players who continued to impress at their respective clubs abroad before the international break.

In-form striker Quentin Rushenguziminega was on the score sheet for FC Echallens and Claude Kayibanda netted a consolation goal for Luton Town U21 against Burnley U21 while enterprising defensive midfielder Bonheur Mugisha bossed the Stade Tunisien midfield to perfection in their 1-0 win over CA Bizertin.

England

Doyle Kamari replaced Jack Aitchison in the 73rd minute as his club Exeter City beat Cambridge United 1-0 in the English League 1 on Saturday October 5 at the St, James Park.

In the League 2, centre back Harvey Araujo played 63 minutes for Chesterfield who drew 2-2 with Walsall.

Elsewhere in the Premier League Cup, central midfielder Claude Kayibanda played full throttle and netted a 94th-minute consolation goal as his club Luton Town U21 lost 4-1 to Burnley U21.

And, in the FA Cup trophy, Collins Kagame replaced Jake Thompson in the 73rd minute as Hyde United FC lost 1-0 to Congleton Town FC.

Sweden

Lague Byiringiro was an unused substitute for Sandviken IF who beat Ostersunds FK in the Swedish Superettan League.

In the same division, Rafael York made way for Kevin Perrson in the 79th minute as his side Gefle IF beat Brage 2-1.

In the Etan Norra, Torre Rafael was an unused substitute for Orebro Syrianka who drew 2-2 with Taby.

Winger Kaleleo Wimbabazi was introduced in the 79th minute as his side Pitea IF lost 3-2 to Karlstad.

Norway

Beltran Nishimwe replaced Stefan Sigaardarson in the 87th minute as his club Sandefjord lost 2-1 to Kristansund in the Norwegian top tier.

Josias King Furaha came in for Mikael Ugland in the 61st minute as his club FK Jerv lost 1-0 to Hodd.

Denmark

Holding midfielder Sanders Ngabo replaced Ghana's Kwame Karikari who scored the second goal for AC Horsens in the 82nd minute as they went to the Monjasa Park to post a shocking 2-1 win over 2nd placed Fredericia.

Belgium

Hakim Sahabo was once again overlooked by Standard Liege head coach Ivan Leko as he was not selected in their 3-0 defeat to Anderlecht. Sahabo hasn't played a single minute for the senior team this season.

In the Challenger Pro League, midfielder Samuel Gueulette lasted 46 minutes before being substituted for Owen Maes as his team Raal La Louviere drew 1-1 with RWDM at the Edmond Machtens Stadium on Saturday, October 5.

Centre back Jeremie Mugabo, 19, was an unused substitute for Union Namur who traveled to Parc des Roches to demolish Union Rochefortoise 3-0.

Louange Muhire was not in the Royal Knokke team which drew 2-2 with Dessel.

France

At the Decathlon Arena, right back Warren Kamanzi was introduced into the game in the 84th minute as his club Toulouse FC lost 2-1 to Lille in the French Ligue 1.

Striker Joel Mugisha Mvuka came into the game for Sambou Soumano in the 67th minute as his team Lorient beat Caen 2-1.

In match day 7 of the CFA, guardsman Brian Ngwabije was 90 minutes of action for Blois Foot 41 who lost 1-0 to Dinan Lehon.

Switzerland

Striker Quentin Rushenguziminega scored the second goal for FC Echallens in the 49th minute as they went on to beat FC Chaux-de la Fonds 3-1. Countryman Mike Niyibizi was not in the FC Chaux squad.

Ukraine

Amavubi captain Djihad Bizimana saw 67 minutes of action for FC Kryvbas who lost 2-1 to league leaders Dynamo Kyiv on Sunday, October 6.

Netherlands

Winger Noam Emeran was an unused substitute for FC Groningen who lost 3-1 to Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Sunday, October 6.

Cyprus

Emmanuel Imanishimwe replaced Kypros Neofytou in the 61st minute as his club AEL Limassol returned to winning ways with an emphatic 5-2 victory over Ethnikos Achna at the Alphamega Stadium on Saturday, October 5.

Germany

Right-back Jonathan Nsanzimana played 65 minutes for FC Pullach in the German 6th division as they humiliated Kirchheimer 8-3.

Azerbaijan

Centre back Ange Mutsinzi played full throttle for Zira FK who lost 1-0 to Turan.

Macedonia

Abdul Rwatubyaye was not in the match day squad of Brera Strumica who were thrashed 3-1 by his former club Shkupi.

Tunisia

Defensive midfielder Bonheur Mugisha marshaled Stade Tunisien’s midfield to perfection and played the entire game as they defeated CA Bizertin 1-0 on Thursday, October 3.

Anicet Ishimwe came into the game in the second half as his team Olympique Beja beat JS Omrane 2-1 on Thursday, October 3.

USA

In the USL, winger Jojea Kwizera was exempted from Rhode Island FC 3-1 victory over Tampa Bay Rowdies as he was due to travel to Abidjan to join Amavubi for the upcoming AFCON qualifier against Benin.

Birmingham Legion FC captain Phanuel Kavita, who is of Rwandan and Congolese origin, missed his club's 3-2 defeat to North Carolina through injury.

Meanwhile, in the third tier league, striker Innocent Nshuti played 61 minutes for One Knoxville FC who drew 1-1 with Chattanooga Red Wolves.

Saudi Arabia

Goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera was in the posts for Al Kawkab who gave Al Taraji a 5-1 mauling in the Saudi Arabian second league.
