President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame on Friday, October 4, attended a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron at the Elysee Palace in the capital Paris.

The dinner was hosted in honour of Heads of State and Government, as well as other dignitaries attending the 19th Francophonie Summit.

Earlier in the day, the President and First Lady had joined other leaders for the opening ceremony of the Francophonie Summit, They were welcomed by the French president and the Secretary General of the International Organisation of la Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo.

President Kagame and the First Lady arrived in France on October 3.
